I published the compelling memoir of my dear friend, Roland Takaoka, after he passed away on August 23rd, 2018 from a fourth stroke.
This story was written by him after his third stroke, which paralyzed the entire right side of his body. Working with just his left hand in the hospital and rehab, Roland relates his story with humor and optimism. As he learned from an insightful physical therapist, we all get to choose our emotions.
